Barb Thorud - Office Manager / Associate

Barb was born in Minneapolis and raised in Golden Valley, Minnesota. She moved to Hutchinson in 1974 to be a teacher at St. Anastasia Catholic School. She taught the 5th grade and also taught 4th grade Art. Her career in Real Estate began in 1977 with Peterson & Paulsen Real Estate working for Richard Peterson & Jim Paulsen, and later working for Jim's son John Paulsen. She became a licensed sales associate in 1997 and continued working for John until the doors of Peterson & Paulsen Real Estate closed in December of 2003. In 2004, she became the heart and soul of Coldwell Banker Advantage.

Barb enjoys time with friends and family, bowling, crafts, and quilting. Her passion for sports includes hockey, football, and most of all - baseball. She is without a doubt the number one Minnesota Twins fan! She enjoys going to games and attending their spring training. Barb also has a love of art and visits Art Museums wherever she travels.

With 30 years of experience in real estate, Barb specializes in the often difficult and challenging task of taking care of a busy, energetic office. She is the foundation of Coldwell Banker Advantage and she is priceless.
